Going to the beach is a great family day outing! Everyone loves to play in the sand, wade around in the ocean and spend some serious time in the sun. (Well, most people love the sun. I’m more of an under the beach umbrella kind of girl. LOL!) The day after, however, always leaves us all wishing we were right back there on that gorgeous beach.
Pre-planning the weekend to include a day of crafting after the beach is a great way to beat the lack of beach blues. Check out these kids crafts to do after a beach trip! Then on your next beach trip, gather what you’ll need for the next day’s crafts. (Be sure to check the policies of the beach you’re visiting. Many beaches have specifics on what items you can take home with you.) But not to worry, you can also buy many items at your local craft store!

Beach Crafts for Kids Using Driftwood
Most people never think of the smooth drift wood floating around at the beach for crafts. We all know how to use popsicle sticks and toothpicks in crafts, but for the day after a beach trip, nothing is better than using some small pieces of driftwood to create beach inspired crafts.
