Our Summer Nature Table

Find a special corner or shelf in your house to collect nature treasures from outside! Here’s how we use a nature table in our home during the summer season.

It’s always interesting to me to see how our nature table changes throughout the seasons here since we have such a moderate climate. We don’t have the cold blustery winters or sweltering hot summers. But, even the minor changes in the seasons seem to make their appearance known on our nature table.

We have some beautiful yellow roses blooming in our backyard.

In the summer we spend a lot more time at the beach. The days are longer and warmer, and we have more time together as a family with school on a break. We’ve collected quite a bit of sea glass and little shells.

  1. I love your nature table. I’d really like to have a little table like this in my preschool classroom, but I’m always worried about the space it would need. I think I need to try something like that pretty stand you have. It would be perfect in our discovery area. Thanks so much for sharing this with us!!

  2. I usually spread things out on a table. I love the idea of using a display like this! I have pinned this post.
