Here’s one of our favorite fall process art projects you can set up for kids of any age (even toddlers and preschoolers). Children will love using the various fall colored materials to create their own fall masterpieces!

Follow our Invitations to Play and Create Pinterest board!

Invitation to Create: Art Using Fall Colors

Theo has really taken an interest in creating things on his own. He’s been practicing using glue and just loves painting. The joy and pride I see in his face when he’s creating art inspired me to set up this invitation to create art using fall colors! (This post contains affiliate links.)

Creating Fall Art for Kids

Theo was immediately interested in the watercolors. He loved saying the names of each color he used as he painted. After he was done exploring the watercolors, Theo was ready to glue on the tissue paper squares. He did this mainly on his own, but at times I did suggest when he had enough glue on his paper.

When he was done creating, I set his artwork aside to dry. Later we hung it up to display and get our home ready for fall!

Loving the simplicity in this activity. Whenever we have a dull moment a little glue does the trick for my 3year old!

Your set ups always look beautiful! This would be a perfect mid-day activity when we need some quiet time. If we don’t take a break and do something relaxing around 3-4, all things go crazy! I’ll be setting this up soon for the kiddo.

Thank you for sharing at our Pinning for Play link party!

This is a wonderful activity for a preschooler. Just enough materials to interest and stimulate the imagination, but not so much it becomes overwhelming. I run a preschool program at the library and this will work beautifully. Thanks for sharing.

This is a fun looking arts and craft project 🙂 I like the way the colors mesh and are perfect for those fall projects and lessons the kids are learning too. Thank you for linking up this week to the Thoughtful Spot Weekly Blog Hop 🙂
