Don’t kids say the cutest things? Here’s a special way for fathers to remember all the sweet things their children say about them- a free printable Father’s Day book for kids to make! (This post contains affiliate links.)
Are you following our Mother’s Day & Father’s Day Inspiration Pinterest board?
With Father’s Day getting closer, the kids and I have been reading lots of books with dads, fathers, daddies, and papas as the main characters. One book we had recently checked out from the library was I Love My Daddy Because … by Laurel Porter-Gaylord.
As we were reading the pages in the story, Lucy kept making connections with them to her own dad~ like special memories and fun events that they had done together. So we came up with the idea to make a similar book of our own all about why we love our Daddy! (Here’s some of our other favorite children’s books about dads!)
I typed out a cover and some pages and printed them out. Then Lucy got to work!
I think this would be the perfect gift for the kids to give to their Daddy this year for Father’s Day! Homemade gifts are always the most special and memorable, and I know Lucy’s Daddy is going to love his.
To make it easy for your children to make their own book, I’ve included free printables for the pages below.
