3 Science Activities for Kids to Explore Sound {Discover & Explore Linky}

Hardly a day goes by where some science activities are not taking place in our house.  I love presenting science projects and activities to the kids at home in order to provide them with opportunities to explore the world around them and pique their curiosity. (You can find all our science experiments and explorations here.)

3 Ways to Explore Sound~ Buggy and Buddy

Quite a few times over the last year our science learning focused on the sense of sound. We’ve explored sound by conducing an experiment, creating our own instrument, and taking a walk in our neighborhood!  I’ve listed these activities below. Just click on the title above each picture to learn more about it! (Be sure to link up your posts about any or all of the five senses at the end of this post!)

  1. Great ideas! Love the Kazoo! My wee ones love to play “Guess who is coming” – One stands at the end of the hall with their eyes closed and somebody starts walking towards them. The object is to correctly guess who is coming down the hall only by listening to their footsteps. We have also played it with clapping, making sounds, etc. Crazy exciting for my 3 year old!! :)
