I absolutely love taking my kids to birthday parties!  I can remember as a child the excitement I felt when I would receive a birthday invitation at school and how it seemed to take forever for the day of the party to finally arrive. And now I get to watch my kids share the same excitement and make their own memories attending the parties.

Today Lucy went to the most fabulous fairy birthday party! It really was very fun and memorable~ so much time and love put into each part of the celebration.

The children were greeted with their own set of fairy wings and wands. They were also invited to create their own fairy skirts using baskets full of all kinds of tulle.  There was fairy face painting and plenty of beads and string to make fairy jewelry!

There were also some yummy snacks for everyone to enjoy, along with games and a birthday cake!

It really was quite a treat to see all kinds of happy children running around as fairies and to look at all the adorable decorations! Such a fun time!

Lucy and I also spent time making the wrapping paper for her friend’s special gift. We sponge painted some blank white paper with different shapes and waited for it to dry. After using it to wrap the gifts we added some colorful ribbon!
