We love making our own homemade Christmas ornaments each year! One of our favorite ways is to use pipe cleaners and beads. The results are always beautiful, and this Christmas craft is appropriate for almost any age!

Today was a rainy, windy day full of lots of cuddles and nose wiping of two sick little kids. In between snuggles we found time to make some Christmas ornaments~ definitely a great activity for this kind of day. (This post contains affiliate links.)
Christmas Ornaments Using Pipe Cleaners and Wooden Beads
I grabbed some pipe cleaners and wooden beads (similar to these) from our craft supplies and brought them down to the floor with the kids.
We all dove right in! Theo focused intently on placing each bead on his pipe cleaner. (Threading things onto pipe cleaners is seriously one of Theo’s favorite things to do!)
Lucy loved trying different combinations of colors and patterns in her creations.
Even I joined in the fun and made a few Christmas ornaments of my own!
I love how they turned out! Lucy was so proud to hang the finished ornaments on the Christmas tree (and Theo insisted on wearing his as bracelets)!
