Gift Ideas for Kids: 10 Classic Toys with a Unique Twist

10 Classic Toys with a Unique Twist

Eeboo Color Go Fish: Go Fish was always a favorite game growing up, and my kids have loved playing Go Fish using this set. The cards are gorgeous and introduce the kids to some new colors through play!

Moonjar Classic Moneybox: This bank takes learning a step further and helps children develop financial sense and values. Kids learn to save money for different purposes (like saving up for toy they’ve been wanting or using some of their own money to donate or purchase a birthday gift for a friend).

Ravensburger Ocean World of Colors Puzzleball: Older children will love this unique twist on puzzles- this one has curved pieces that create a 3-D finished puzzle!

Little Tikes Deluxe Ride and Relax Wagon: Wow! Wagons have come a long way! Not only does this wagon have an umbrella and an attached cooler for drinks and snacks, but it converts to a bench too!

ZoLO Lingo Magnets: Remember the classic ABC magnets for the fridge? Here’s an even more colorful set with all kinds of designs!

Four-Player Mancala: Regular two-player mandala is taken up a notch with this wooden four-player version.

Spirograph String Art: Remember the classic Spirograph where you use gear-like templates to create cool designs? This spirograph set creates similar designs using string!

Rubik’s 2 x 2 Cube: I remember being so proud that I could get two sides to my Rubik’s Cube done on my own. (I never did figure out how to do the whole thing.) Maybe I should have started with this smaller version, the 2 x 2!

Nature Kaleidoscope Kit: Kaleidoscopes were always a hit when I was younger. I love that this set allows your child to make their very own!

Crayola Marker Maker: So now you can apparently make your own markers! This set allows kids to mix their own colors to create their own unique set of markers. Lucy has already added this to her wish list!
