Thank you for sharing! I do have 1 question though. Would the noodles be safe to eat? I’ve coloured 4 different types of noodles and plan on cooking them for some sensory play with my son. However, he is still at the age of putting EVERYRHING in his mouth. I’m just wondering if with the rubbing alcohol if it is safe for him or if I should wait until he is older?

The pasta is never cooked, just use it dry right out of the box! You can also use vinegar- it will take longer to dry and sometimes keeps a vinegary scent after it’s dry.

I Let the kids string the pasta and wear their necklaces home…Some of the children had shirts that were dyed from the food coloring! Oh boy, I learned my lesson on that one!
