You take a white egg and cover it in fresh flowers placing the flower open on the shell as much as possible tie them on with thread as you go along. Then wrap onions skins around then cover in a coloured cloth. Tie firmly with string and boil for 15 mins. Let it cool then peel off all the layers and you have the most beautiful egg covered in flower shapes print of assorted colours. Originally the idea was to roll them down a hill at Easter but we never did that as the eggs were just too beautiful to destroy x
