Valentine Crafts for Kids: Paper Heart Mobile
Materials for Paper Heart Mobiles
- Construction paper or cardstock in a variety of colors
- Scissors
- Tape
- String or yarn
Directions for Making Paper Heart Mobiles
1. Start by cutting out an assortment of hearts from your paper. Make them all different sizes and colors. You can even cut the inside of your hearts out to make heart frames for your mobile. (We have a die cut machine I used to make most our hearts, but it’s definitely not necessary.)
2. Now the fun part! Place a long string on a flat surface. Place your hearts along the string. We varied the sizes and colors of the hearts to give each mobile a unique look. And it’s really fun to put hearts inside the heart frames- they spin around when they’re hanging up!
3. Tape each heart in place onto your string.
4. Hang your mobile up and enjoy!
