Today was a rainy, windy day full of lots of cuddles and nose wiping of two sick little kids. In between snuggles we found time to make some Christmas ornaments~ definitely a great activity for this kind of day.
I had been wanting to make these adorable snowflake ornaments I saw on Pinterest, but didn’t have the exact materials and wasn’t about to drag two sickies out to the store. So I searched our craft supplies and found some pipe cleaners and wooden beads we had used for the glass lanterns we had made a while back.
The kids and I sat on the floor with all the materials and just had fun making our own creations! I love how they turned out~ Lucy was so proud to hang them on the tree (and Theo insisted on wearing them as bracelets~ he was proud too!)
